The Players Club at Amherst Country Club
The Players Club was established by the Amherst Country Club to monitor and organize USGA Handicap services and all golf events held for participants. The Players Club conducts events and Championships at Amherst Country Club throughout the season. Establishing a handicap at Amherst Country Club allows you entry into all of our tournaments and events.

The benefits of membership in the Players Club include a USGA handicap, which allows scores to be entered at the club or at home via the Internet. Members can play in scheduled events throughout the season and are eligible to participate in the club divisions, Men's, Women's, Seniors and 'The Hatred'.

2012 Event Schedule at Amherst Country Club
All events are open to members of the Players Club at Amherst Country Club and Ponemah Green.  Some events allow for guest invites; guests may need a current 2012 USGA Handicap. Tournament pricing, structure, dates and times are subject to revisions.  Sign up for three (3) or more of the above events before April 15, 2012, and receive 20% off the listed prices!  Some restrictions may apply.

The Men's Senior group welcomes men 55 years & older who enjoy 18 holes of friendly competition with fellow senior golfers with tee times starting at 9:00 a.m.. Play is scheduled at 9:00 am on Wednesday and Friday mornings throughout the season. Joining is easy and weekly participation is not required.

Players pay an initial fee of $20.00 to be placed into a roster and must have a USGA handicap at Amherst Country Club. Players call the Pro Shop at 603-673-9908 or sign-up in person prior to the day of play. Teams are established by handicap by the golf shop. The Senior Division is a great way to meet fellow senior golfers.

This Women's Division at Amherst Country Club offers female golfers the opportunity to play and compete in a weekly 18-holes. Held on Wednesday mornings, with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m., groups are paired by handicap for friendly competition. Joining is easy and weekly participation is not required. Women may sign up in advance the day before play and groups are made by the golf shop staff.

Players pay an initial fee of $20.00 to be placed into a roster and must have a USGA handicap at Amherst Country Club. Players call the Pro Shop at 603-673-9908 or sign-up in person prior to the day of play. Teams are established by handicap by the golf shop. The Women's Dvision is a great way to meet fellow female golfers.

"The Hatred"

Played each Wednesday and Friday throughout the season, The Hatred offers a competitive 18-hole formats that vary every week. in teams of four players. All players must have a current USGA handicap at Amherst Country Club. Guests with a current USGA Index are eligible to play in The Hatred two times per season.

Players pay an initial fee of $20.00 to be placed into a roster and must have a USGA handicap at Amherst Country Club. Players call the Pro Shop at 603-673-9908 or sign-up in person by 9:00 the day of play. Teams are established by handicap by the golf shop. "The Hatred" is a great way to play competitive, weekly golf.

A portion of each week's fee is set aside for a year-end event, known as "The Motha Hatred". All sign-up fees and entry fees are returned in the form of prizes from the year.

Membership in the Players Club includes a USGA handicap, which allows scores to be entered at Ponemah Green or at home via the Internet. Members are invited to participate in the year-end (combined) Players Club Scramble held at Amherst Country Club.
