Amherst Country Club - Four Decades of Excellence!

Amherst Country Club's 18-hole public golf course was founded in 1965 by Robert and Arleen Currier on the fertile river-bottom land that was once his father's. Today, the family still maintains ownership and management of the course.

A Commitment to the Environment
The Championship course at Amherst combines thoughtful and artistic design, with the natural pastoral scenery of its140 acres. Sprinkled with a variety of wooded and water hazards, the challenging 6500 yards are skillfully interwoven with the winding Souhegan River. Amherst Country Club is proud to be one of fewer than 800 golf courses Audubon-certified in the world, and is the only golf course in the state of New Hampshire to receive this honor.

Amherst's greens offer a variety of shapes, sizes and gentle contours. The course comfortably blends its manicured turf with a tremendous array of mature native trees and other wild vegetation.

A public course, Amherst Country Club offers Annual Pass Programs for seasonal golf. We welcome business and private groups for a variety of tournaments, outings and leagues throughout the season. Complete food service is available for any special event or golf outing.

Ponemah Green Family Golf Center - Fun for Everyone!

The Ponemah Green Family Golf Center provides the entire family with a variety of golf experiences, in a friendly and fun environment. Our facilities include a 9-Hole Executive Golf Course (7 par 4s and two par 3s), an all-weather lighted driving range, a newly renovated 18-Hole Miniature Golf Course, and The Clam Shack. Multiple practice areas, including a 15,000 square foot putting green and practice bunkers are open, FREE of charge! Annual Pass Programs are also available for individuals, couples, families, and students.

The Ponemah Green Family Golf Center is a fantastic golf training facility for all levels and age players. We offer adult golf clinics, junior golf programs throughout the season.
